Meet Riley

Another Monday, another packed summer weekend gone by.  I hope that you all enjoy yours; mine was certainly busy with both work and play, and fantastic weather and times with good friends made it that much better.

Saturday started out with six month old Riley’s photoshoot, the subject of today’s post.  There is no other way to say it…she is freakin’ adorable.  Loves to smile and laugh, has bright blue eyes, is very expressive and very easy to photograph.  We spent about two hours in a local park, with a beach theme, a Pittsburgh Penguin theme and some other summer outfits that she was more than happy to adorn for us.  Well, up to a point.  Seeing as it was 95 degrees out and her teeth are just starting to come in, she started to get a little cranky about halfway through.  Between all the tears, I was still able to get some pretty adorable shots of her.  Below is a selection of some of the ones I’ve got around to editing so far, with many more to go this week.

That’s all from the baby shoot for now, like I said, I still have quite a few to go through.  I also shot a band on Saturday night, Acts of Pardon (completely awesome) and have a mountain of shots to go through from the shot.  It was a ton of fun and I would definitely like to do it again soon.  Stay tuned for pictures from that later in the week.
