Morning everyone and welcome to another Monday morning and I hope that you all had a great weekend. Like I said on Friday, I spent mine visiting my brother at Penn State in central Pennsylvania for homecoming weekend. The weather threatened to put a damper on the festivities, but it ended up being beautiful and I had a great time hanging out with him and my sister. Got a ton of great shots from the football game on Saturday, so stay tuned for those.

Today’s shot is actually from the game as well, looking out from one of the concourses at Beaver Stadium over campus and towards Mt. Nittany, which you can see in the distance as it has just a sliver of sunlight on it. I can’t be 100% sure what some of the buildings are in the shot, but I believe that they are intramural/practive fields. The sky was pretty impressive, and although it may look ominous, it didn’t rain a drop. It was fairly windy, which made sitting at the top of the stadium a little uncomfortable at times, but overall it as an awesome time.
This is a five exposure handheld HDR processed with Photomatix and edited with Photoshop. I desaturated the entire image and added an overall S Curve for increase contrast. In onOne PhotoTools I added Blue Dawn Leonidas, Omaha Beach, Turbo Boost and Dreamland filters. I also added a Tonal Contrast filter in Color Efex at 100% for the lower half of the scene and 40% for the clouds.
That’s all for today. Until tomorrow.
