Good morning everyone! I hope that you all had a great weekend and, for those of you in the States, are looking forward to the Thanksgiving holiday this Thursday. I know that I am.
Today we head back to Texas and to the Log Cabin Village, which is located just south of Fort Worth across from the zoo. We made our way there on Saturday afternoon for a little stroll through some historic log cabins that were collected from all over north Texas. The cabins were disassembled and the put together again piece of by piece in the village. It was really cool to see the different kinds of cabins used and how each family put their unique spin on them. The “villagers” who were stationed at each one gave stories and facts about the particular home that they were in.
I don’t remember the names of all the buildings, but here is a collection of my favorite shots from our visit.

This was the schoolhouse which was originally located in the area where the Fort Worth Stockyards are now

The main level of this cabin was for word working while the family lived upstairs

A closer cropped shot of the first image, couldn’t pass up the sunflare and reflection
That’s all for today, thanks for stopping by everyone. See you all tomorrow.

A fascinating story and some great interiors – so well controlled and almost luminous. This sounds an unusual place to visit, and some very saleable pictures.
