Well, I think that winter is finally here to stay in Pittsburgh. With temperatures plummeting last night and a very crisp chill in the air, we may actually see snow for more than just a few days before it melts! I just have a quick post and run today as it’s been a busy Friday already (seeing as this blog post is 3 hours late!), but I just wanted to share some of my favorite winter images over the last few years. The one above is from last year, on a path that I didn’t even know existed until I almost walked by it this night, capturing some of the snow that had fallen!

Thanks for stopping by today everyone and have a great weekend!

Brrrr stay warm Dave!
Great winter scenes Dave. We finally had snow – all 1/2 inch of it. If this continues it may go on record as the lowest snowfall in CT ever.
We don’t often see snow like that in London, Dave. When we get 6″ or less most people think it’s the end of the world.
Nice set Dave! Hoping we don’t get that much snow this year in the Burgh!
Nice set Dave! Hope we don’t get that much snow at one time in the Burgh this year!
Great set of cold looking scenes Dave. Love the way you processed these, the snow looks fantastic.
Just looking at those photos I would say that it is there, and in full force.
Love that first image with the path leading under the tree!
I feel winter very well here
