Good morning everyone and happy Monday! I hope that you all enjoyed your weekend!
Today’s shots will be somewhat of a hodge podge. I am still in the process of organizing my pictures in Lightroom after making the switch from iPhoto about two months back and I keep finding pictures that I took a while back, but never posted. These are all shots that I took over the summer with the rented fisheye I had. I think I still have a few more still lurking on the hard drive somewhere, so we may have a part two of this series at some point!
These are all shots from around Pittsburgh (except that one that is at a bar with the Dos Equis bar mat, as that one was from Guidos Burritos restaurant on the Boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland), and primarily in Market Square, nestled in between PPG Place. The day after I received the lens this was my first destination as I knew that I would be able to put the lens to some good use before the tripod police came. Along with Market Square there is a view from PNC Park and the Pirates’ game as well as the dome in front of the Pennsylvanian.
Thanks for stopping by today folks see you all tomorrow.

That’s one piece of gear that I cannot justify but would love to have. Good stuff Dave!

All great shots! Beautiful work Dave!
Wonderful shots, Dave!
I love fisheye images, there is always that element of creativity and art associated with them in my opinion. Good stuff, man.
Every time I see a cool fish shot, it just makes me want one even more. Good stuff Dave.

Dig these shots Dave! Would love to get my paws on a fisheye for a week. I may have to rent one this summer!
These images really are outstanding Dave. The last one is one of my favorites of yours. You are a master with that fish-eye

Nice! I’ve always wanted to get one. It’s just never floated to the top of the purchase list. I may have to rent one here soon. I love the shot in the bar. Excellent!

great series of shots Dave, well done and the fisheye looks like a fun lens!
What an amazing series. I can’t pick one that stands out because they all do! Creative original stuff. I wish I had one of them but the idea of renting sounds an interesting idea.

Awesome as usual Dave!
One of these days I will finally invest in a fisheye. I just love the distortion it provides and just how much of the scene it takes in. Good stuff man!
Such a great series of fisheye images here Dave! Love the comps. I love my fisheye dearly, it’s just so much fun to use! Which fisheye were you using for these?

great fisheye effect
These are sick Dave. I have been wanting to experiment with a fisheye for quite some time now. Definitely gives me some great ideas. Nice work man.

Cool series, Dave. I have never used a fisheye before. Sometimes I think it looks very cool and other times a bit odd. I think my favorite from your series is the one of the bar. I’ll have to rent a fisheye for the weekend over the summer to check it out.
