Good morning everyone and welcome to another Monday! I hope that you all enjoy your weekend! It was certainly a busy one for us, but definitely an exciting one. Spent Saturday at the Pittsburgh Pirates game (pictures to come this week) and yesterday at Penn State watching my little brother graduate college. My sister also ran her first full marathon yesterday (which I was supposed to run but went to the graduation instead) and finished with a great time. All in all a great weekend!

Today’s shots are from my Sunday night in New York City, the night that I dealt with a little bit of rain. My plan was actually to make it to the reservoir in Central Park at night, but I was still about 25 blocks away when the skies opened up. Since I was missing one crucial piece of equipment for rain photography (an umbrella) I thought it best to turn around. I did manage to snag this shot before I left the park. I think that I prefer the B&W one above (processed with Silver Efex 2), but there is something about the color one that catches my eye as well, so I thought that I would share both.

Thanks for swinging by today everyone! See you all tomorrow.

Very nice shots both Dave! I’m leaning toward the B&W myself, but the different lighting colors in the color version are cool as well! Have a great week!
Glad you enjoyed a great weekend, Dave.
Love these images, particularly the B&W. It has a bit of mystery and timeless feel about it. Nice work, man.
I really like the mood of the B&W version!
What a cool shot Dave! I think I like the color for this.
The contrasting colors actually helped my eyes work through the image and separate elements with in it! Very nice!
oh wow, that color blast is awesome Dave!!!
Totally digging that bw one. Sounds like you had a great weekend.
Great shot, Dave. I really like the b&w.
The color one is really cool Dave but I love the B&W. Great shot.
That is a terrific B&W image Dave. I am normally a color guy but there is something special in the B&W version. I think it conveys the weather through the the tones.
elle est superbe la version en noire et blanc
Dave, that B&W shot is money, love love love it.
