Spring on campus

Back after taking a day off from the blogging world!  We actually had a work outing yesterday at the Pittsburgh Pirates game (my second one in as many days) so I wasn’t able to get a post out.  Today’s shot are from a few weeks back when I was shooting on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh before a gig I had that night covering a band.  It was a beautiful Friday afternoon and since I had a few hours, I took full advantage!

This is a shot that I took a similar view of over the winter…looks a bit different now!  You can see the Cathedral of Learning rising up over the tree line.

Taken just a few steps to the side of the first shot to include the Panther statue.

A view from the side of the Cathedral of Learning, on one of the lawns that surrounds the campus.

A similar view of the lawn, just with a sunflare thrown in

A walkway in front of the Cathedral of Learning, looking towards Heinz Chapel

The same view in B&W

One more view of the Cathedral of Learning, with some people playing Frisbee in the foreground

Thanks for stopping by today everyone!  See you all tomorrow.
