On and on and on

Good morning everyone!  I hope that you all enjoyed your weekend.  Sorry I wasn’t able to post or make it to any of your sites yesterday, was kind of a crazy day!

For today we head back up to New York and to the Top of the Rock for a few shots from my visit there a couple months back.  I know that I’ve posted a whole lot of shots from up there, but it is one of my favorite views of the city and I took such a wide range of shots that I wanted to make sure that I shared them all.  Also, with some portrait work I’ve been doing as well as moving into the new house, I’m still a bit behind on my processing, which I suppose is a good problem to have!

As I’ve said before, the night that I was at the Top of the Rock I spent almost three hours up there to make sure that I captured the sunset.  While it was a bit cloudy and hazy, I was still able to get the sun going down over New Jersey, just peaking out between some clouds.

The next two shots above are both looking north, with Central Park being visible in one and just out of the frame in the second.  In the latter shot, you can see Citigroup Center, the seventh tallest building in New York front and center.

Thanks for swinging by today folks!  See you all tomorrow!

Those are some expansive views from up there! I wish it just wasn’t so crowded up there. Good stuff, Dave!
