Around the ‘Burgh

Good morning everyone!  Hope that you all enjoyed your weekend!  Today’s post is nothing too specific, just a collection of a few shots that I’ve taken over the last couple months around Pittsburgh.  I have so many images that I’ve taken this year that I’d like to share here on my blog and to try to catch up, I’ll be doing some posts like this one every once in a while.  I suppose that it is a nice problem to have!

pittsburgh skyline and boats

Most of these shots, like this one, are views from PNC Park during a game I attended a few weeks back.  Here you can see a group of boats enjoying the beautiful day!

Another one of the Pittsburgh skyline from PNC Park.

An early morning sunrise from Mt. Washington, with the city in a beautiful silhouette

Taken from the right field stands of the aforementioned Pirates game

Tossed on the 70-200 to grab this view of the top of the Roberto Clemente Bridge and downtown Pittsburgh

A similar view to the last one, with the Steel Building being front and center

Thanks for stopping by today folks!  See you all tomorrow.

Man, that sunrise shot is stellar! Love how well the river pulls in the light and cuts through the black.

The last but one shot is a beauty – the longer lens has very effectively compressed and stacked those buildings behind the bridge.
