Good morning everyone! Well, it’s been a exciting last couple of days for me, as I had a few portraits sessions as well as got the chance to walk around downtown Pittsburgh last night nad get some new shots. Today’s post is one that I am really proud of and came out even better than I expected.

One of the newest renovated areas of the city is Market Square, located at PPG Place, home of the second image in yesterday’s post. A few years back they completely redid the Square, adding in more seating, expanding the area and making it more welcoming to hang out in. This brought in new restaurants and bars and now it always seems to be abuzz with activity. Last night was no different and as I made my way through, I thought that it would be a great place to try a 360 degree panorama. The result that you see above is a 21 image, HDR panorama, with each HDR made up of give bracketed shots, for a total of 110 shots in the panorama. I used ten vertical images for the lower half and 11 for the top, and although it took my computer nearly 20 minutes to render the entire image, it was worth it! Standing in the dead center of Market Square, I was able to get a great view of the surrounding area; you can even just see the last faint glow of light as a halo over the skyline from the setting sun as well.
Thanks for stopping by today folks, see you all tomorrow!
