Steely sites

Good morning everyone and happy Friday!  Another week has come and gone…this summer really is flying by.  Can’t believe it is mid August already!

Today’s post will be another quick one, with another collection of views from around Pittsburgh.  The vantage point varies, from up on Mt. Washington overlooking the skyline, to the heart of downtown Pittsburgh on the roof of the tallest building, the Steel Building to a parking garage nestled into downtown.  There are so many great angles to capture the city from, you really can’t go wrong wherever you are!

This is a view of the Pittsburgh skyline as seem from Mt. Washington and is a two image panorama

Atop one of the parking garages in downtown, looking down Penn Avenue

The concrete jungle that is downtown Pittsburgh on a cloudy day from the roof of the Steel Building

A view of the Three Sister Bridges, which connect downtown Pittsburgh with the North Shore

The classic view of the Pittsburgh skyline as seen from Mt. Washington.

Thanks for stopping by today everyone!  I hope that you all have a great weekend!

Excellent series of image Dave. I feel that although I have never been to the Burgh (unless you count the airport), I feel like I know it from your images. That second one is my fave.ReplyCancel
