HDR: Before and After

One of my favorite things to do after creating one of my HDRs is to look at the original image or even the HDR image before any edits were done and compare that to the final, processed HDR.  This page will give you the ability to toggle back and forth between the original (either original RAW or unprocessed HDR) and the final HDR while reading some of the processing that I applied to get to the completed product.

Pittsburgh skyline from the North Shore

This is a shot that was taken from the Mr. Rogers Statue area on the North Shore of Pittsburgh of the skyline and the Point.  I had never been shooting here before I took this shot and will definitely have to go back!

This is some pretty wild stuff. Think I’ll give it a try. You know who has the best deal on the Photomatix? And I’m supposing that CS5 will work for the secondary touches. I’m out of work, this will give me something to do.

Thanks,
Don

Nice compare! Love how you brought out the dark contrasting colors, blacks and greys, and the beautiful reflections. Wonderful work Dave.
