Hey there everyone…welcome to my site! If you didn’t know already, my name is Dave and I’m a wedding photographer from the Steel City of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. When I’m not shooting the stunning view from Mt. Washington, I love capturing the memories of two people enjoying the happiest day of their life together. Weddings aren’t all I do; engagements, family, professional portrait work, heck I even do bands…I’ve got you covered.
I do a fair amount of HDR (High Dynamic Range) imaging, which involves capturing the full range of light an image has to offer. This makes for vibrant, colorful, almost painting-like images, that can really bring a scene to life.
My portrait style is modern, artistic, almost cinematic, but most important, personal. I love the candid moment, capturing a slice of time between people that is uniquely theirs and all the emotions and feelings that go along with it. My hope is that each time you view your images, all those feelings will come rushing back.
I’ve been published in the Pittsburgh Magazine, Pittsburgh Business Times and the Lonely Planet Travel Magazine, with cover shots on both the Pittsburgh Business Times and Lonely Planet. The Pittsburgh Penguins, Pitt Panthers and various local high schools have also hired me to shoot various sporting events for them.
