Before you get married, you have to get engaged right? Sooo, before you take engagement pictures, you should probably taken engagement pictures, right? Right!
I love shooting engagement sessions for couples and that’s one reason why they are included my wedding package. Don’t get me wrong, shooting a wedding is a ton of fun, but the relaxed, casual nature of engagement sessions can be a blast as well! It gives a chance to get to know each other; I get to learn how you guys met, what you like to do together, what you do for fun. You get to learn my style and more importantly, get more comfortable with me before the day of the wedding.
We’ll pick a place that is important or familiar to you guys and we’ll spend a couple hours walking around, talking, relaxing, all while I take a few pictures of you guys. We can go anywhere and however many places you want…just so long as we have fun!
We’ll spend a couple of hours shooting, so it’s usually best to bring a change of clothes. How many you bring it up to you! Casual, formal, somewhere in the middle, whatever you feel most comfortable in! You can see some examples of engagement shoots above.
